The core documents
- NEET admit card and NEET scorecard / rank letter.
- Class 10 marksheet & certificate (also serves as date-of-birth proof).
- Class 12 marksheet & certificate.
- Photo identity proof (Aadhaar / passport / PAN).
- Passport-size photographs matching your NEET application photo.
- Provisional allotment letter (generated during counselling).
Category & eligibility documents
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in the prescribed format, where applicable.
- Domicile / nativity certificate for state-quota eligibility.
- Income certificate if claiming EWS or fee concessions.
- Disability certificate (PwD) from a designated authority, if applicable.
Most-forgotten items: the counselling registration fee receipt, the refundable security-deposit proof, and enough sets of attested photocopies. Carry originals and multiple copies.
Formats and copies
Keep clear scanned copies (within the portal's size limits) for online steps, plus several physical photocopies for verification. Certificates must usually be in the exact prescribed format — a generic one can be rejected.
